The Neosho Newton County Library is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Broadband/Telehealth Grant from the Department of Economic Development for $12,000. This grant will purchase Chromebooks that library patrons can check out at both the Neosho and Seneca locations to address their telehealth or educational needs.
The grant also purchased hotspots that will be placed out in the rural areas of Newton County that will hopefully be easily and freely accessible for residents to use.
Stay tuned for updates on locations of hotspots in the county.
The Library is also pleased to present out newly re-designed website, funded by a CARES grant from the Missoui State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The new website is clean, easy to access, and most importantly, works on mobile devices.
At the top of the home page, you can easily access your Evergreen account and place holds on any items in the consortium!
