Part-Time Position Opening for Genealogy / Local History Clerk

The library has an immediate opening for a Part-Time

This position is 20 hours a week, Monday-Friday, afternoons/evenings.

We need an candidate who is enthusiastic about local history and genealogical research, and who has EXPERIENCE in research.
This person must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must be computer proficient.
Must be able to bend, squat, and lift 50 pounds.

There will be a 6-month probationary period.
Vacation and sick benefits after 1 year.

Due to the construction project, the library will be closed to the public February 8th through the 28th.
The staff will be moving out of the main building, and boxing up the majority of the collection for storage.
Check-out times will be extended, and we encourage you to “load up” on reading material before February 8th. Items can be renewed during this period.
